WMA Easy Prime

Easy Prime is water based, fast drying, general purpose primer designed to be used over porous building surfaces prior to application of WMA membranes to provide a strong adhesion to the substrate.

Primer for acrylic, latex and polyurethane membranes

• Priming on concrete blocks. plasterboard, aerated concrete and most porous surfaces

COVERAGE : 1 or more coats – 4-8m²/L depending on porosity of substrate

CURE TIME : Touch Dry 10-15 minutes at temp over 25°C, 65% RH

PRECAUTIONS

• As detailed above when using as a water-proof render or screed it has to be applied over a wet coat of EASYPRIME slurry. Only use fresh Portland cement which is free of lumps.
• During conditions of low temperature or high humidity the EASYPRIME curing rate will slow dramatically.
• Avoid applying over any surfaces that have been previously coated or treated with curing compounds, concrete bonding agents or acrylic coatings.
• Do not use on glass or glazed surfaces. These areas must be mechanically cleaned by grinding to produce a contamination free surface.
• EASYPRIME is not a waterproof membrane on its own. When cured it is rigid and will not absorb movement cracks.
• EASYPRIME is not UV stable
